Megan & Spencer | Real Vermont Wedding

"Garden Party" was the theme that Megan and Spencer expressed during our first consultation conversation. Theirs was a special wedding--Megan was the third Trudell sister wedding I had the pleasure to design! Here's what Megan had to say:

We chose Creative Muse because she had done so well with both of my sisters’ weddings in the past. They each had a totally different aesthetic, so I was curious how she would implement the vibe I was going for. When our wedding day finally came, we were completely blown away! She saw my vision better than I had myself. From the baskets and pottery to the variety of shapes and colors in the arrangements, our florals could not have been more perfect. All tied together with greenery wrapped around the tent poles and draped among the disco balls. It was the whimsical, colorful, garden party of my dreams! We had people approaching us all evening telling us how “obsessed” they were with the florals.

The florals included lush roses, gorgeous dahlias, larkspur, scabiosa, ranunculus, feverfew, amaranthus, gomphrena, allium, freesia, gladiolus, and jasmine. We selected artistic pottery and wicker vessels to compliment the open-air garden party vibe. The rolling mountain grounds of the historic von Trapp Family Lodge provided the perfect setting. The day was blessed by summer sun and the love of friends and family was palpable.
